Angeline Campbell, better known as Angie, was born in Detroit, MI on December 07, 1953. She was born to the union of the late Henry Douglas Meeks and Violet Irene Meeks. She had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 30 plus years and was a current resident of Hyden, Kentucky. Angie worked all her life in the restaurant business as a waitress. She loved people and had a genuine concern for everyone and their wellbeing. She had a loving spirit and was easy going. Angie loved the Lord and enjoyed reading His word. She liked watching T.V., especially cooking shows and cartoons. Her greatest joy came from vacationing to Gatlinburg, TN. There, she enjoyed going to Dollywood and attending Gospel music concerts.
Angeline “Angie” Campbell departed this walk of life on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Lexington, KY. She was 68 years old.
In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by two sisters, Lagratha Vonzal Wright and Patricia Carlisle Jones.
Angie leaves surviving, her loving & devoted husband, Marion Campbell of Hyden, KY, two daughters, Tina Louise Caldwell (Gary) of Wooton, KY and Tammy Lynn Lane (Ronald) of Busy, KY. Also surviving are her three cherished grandchildren, Justin Coldwell (Latisha), Brittany Coldwell and Jacob Caldwell; her cherished great-grandchildren, Mason, Gracie, Hunter, Chloe, Emma and Ayden.
The funeral service for Angeline “Angie” Campbell will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Krouc Noble and Ken Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in the Feltner Cemetery at Busy, KY.
There will be no visitation.
