Allen Wooten

Mr. Allen Wooten, born January 01, 1953 in Perry County, Kentucky to the union of the late Dennis and the late Omia Engle Wooten. He departed this life on Saturday, November 03, 2012 at the Albert Chandler UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY at the age of 59 Years. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. By occupation Allen was a Pipe Line Repairman, employed by Kentucky - West Virginia Gas. Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to church and spending time with family and grandchildren. Allen is preceded in death by his parents; one son: Zackary; brother: Kenneth Ray; sisters: Della Mae, Alene, Zola and Ora. Mr. Allen Wooten leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Diane Wooten of Smilax, KY; 4 sons: Allen Wooten, Jr. (Paula) of Columbus, IN; Johnnie Ray Wooten (Tabatha) o f Austin, IN, Tanner Wooten of Smilax, KY and Kolby Wooten of Smilax, KY; 4 daughters: Autumn Woods (Joey) of Smilax, KY, Rachael Gilbert (Greg), Faith Wooten and Denise Wooten all of Smilax, KY; 2 step sons: Tony Baker of Smilax, KY and Ricky Wayne Turner (Sidney) of OH; 1 step daughter: Jessica Nicole Coots of Hyden, KY; 5 brothers: Eugene Wooten of Chavies, KY, Manuel Wooten of IN, Bill Wooten of Chavies, KY, Bob Wooten of Yerekes, KY and Jerry Wayne Wooten of Yerekes, KY; 1 sister: Rachel Lewis of ID; 14 grandchildren and 2 special grandchildren: Isabella Baker and Dyson Wooten. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.
