Anthony Clark

Mr. Anthony Clark, 54 of Wooton, Kentucky, husband of Tammy Joseph Clark, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky. Anthony was born October 08, 1962 in Leslie County, KY, a son of Lewis Clark and the late Shirley Holcomb Clark. He was a Miner and Mechanic and was employed at Shamrock Coal Company at the time of his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars, gardening, and riding a four wheeler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Clark, and a sister, Kathy Clark Herron.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tammy Joseph Clark, one son Anthony Dwayne Clark and wife Amanda Lee, and one daughter, Amanda Sue Clark, all of Wooton, Kentucky. Five brothers, Lewis and Brenda Clark of Smilax, Kentucky, Curt and Eunice Clark, Scotty and Doris Clark all of Wooton, Kentucky, Ronald and Margaret Clark of Laport, Indiana. One Sister, Sue and Robert Adams of Yeaddiss, Kentucky. Along with two grandchildren, Tiffany Faye Harris and Sydney Marie Harris, both of Wooton, Kentucky. Special niece, Hannah Joseph and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, Kentucky with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Joseph Cemetery at Beach Bottom, Yeaddiss, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m..
