Anthony Watkins

Anthony "Frog" Watkins, of Camp Creek Road, Wendover, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Thursday, July 06, 2017 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. - Hospital at the age of 56 years.
Anthony was born March 13, 1961 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the Cassie Hensley Begley and the late Thomas Joseph Watkins. He was a Leslie County native and by occupation, he was retired from Begley Lumber Company where he was employed for many years. He began his job with Begley's on his summer breaks at the age of sixteen. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening and logging. Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Watkins.

Anthony leaves behind his beloved mother and step-father, Cassie Begley and Tommy Begley of Hyden, KY; one son, Anthony Watkins, Jr. of Barbourville, KY; one daughter, Amanda Couch & Richard of Hyden, KY, step-daughter, Aleshia Henson of Barbourville, KY; one brother, Dr. Thomas Wayne Watkins & Martha of Corbin, KY; one sister, Michelle Wells of Hyden, KY; two grandchildren, Haleigh Elizabeth Henson and Hannah Grace Henson; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Lillie, Emily, Haley, Thomas, Hobert, Stephen, and Alex; special friends, Randall Gay, Mickey Ray Howard, Darren Gay and Eugene Baker. A host of other family and friends survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe and Craig Melton officiating. Friends and family may gather for visitation 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., Saturday evening at the funeral home chapel.
