Aseneth Simpson

Aseneth Simpson, age 77 of Helton,Kentucky, widow of the late Frank Simpson passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Hazard A.R.H Medical Center. She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on November 27, 1940. Aseneth was a housewife and had been a life long resident of Leslie County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Simpson and step daughter, Cindy Shepherd.

Aseneth is survived by step-grandson, Frankie Simpson and wife, Tammy of Helton, Kentucky; two brothers, Johnny Ray Caldwell of Wendover, Kentucky and Wayne Collett of Hyden, Kentucky; one sister, Margary Collett of Maine; three step-great grandchildren, Morgan, Jared, and Kyleigh Simpson. A host of other family and friends also survive.


Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 18, 2017 in the chapel of the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home with Denver Brock and Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery at Warbranch, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. Monday until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M..
