Mrs. Bernice Collins, born February 03, 1939 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Gorman Couch and Martha Sizemore Couch Graham. She departed this walk of life on Friday, December 21, 2012. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was residing at Bear Branch, KY at the time of her death. Bernice was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband, Edward Collins on December 12, 1953. She was a homemaker and enjoyed coking, working in her flowers, gardening and sewing. She also enjoyed ceramics. Bernice was a devout Christian and loved serving the Lord. She took great pride in sharing the gospel with others. Part of her ministry was making and distributing prayer cloths to those in need of prayer and a touch from the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Mozelle Pentecostal Church at Mozelle, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Bernice is preceded in death by her parents: Gorman and Martha Sizemore Couch Graham. Mrs. Bernice Collins leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Edward Collins of Bear Branch, KY; 1-son: Ronald W. Collins (Linda G.) of Middletown, OH; 3-daughters: Debbie Sizemore (Glenn) of Hyden, KY, Vickie Mosley (James) of Asher, KY and Carol C. Scott (Darryl) of Dover, DE; 2-brothers: Fred Couch (Nora) of London, KY and Robert Couch (Judy) of Middlertown, OH; 2-sisters: Louise Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY and Anna Lee Begley (John) of London, KY; 10 beloved grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly. 12 cherished great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Collins will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God with Logan Roberts, Robert Dean Bray, Eugene "Friday" Roberts and Tim Finley officiating. Interment will follow in the Couch's Fork Cemetery at Bear Branch, KY. The family of Mrs. Collins will receive friends for visitation after 4:00 P.M. - Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God, continuing until the funeral hour on Wednesday. The following will serve as pallbearers: Mitch Sizemore, Tony Collins, Keith Sizemore, Mason Scott, Shane Collins and Devin Scott.
