Betty Mae Helton was born in Beverly, Kentucky on December 01, 1959 to the union of the late Ernest and Seretta Lawson Helton. Betty was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She was residing at Stinnett, Kentucky at the time of her passing. Betty was of the Pentecostal faith and was affiliated with the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. Betty liked flowers, especially roses and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She enjoyed cooking and playing games. Above all, Betty cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Dean Helton and Rodney Darrell Helton.
Betty leaves behind her beloved long-time companion, Roger Morgan of Stinnett, KY, one beloved son, Darrell Helton & wife, Lettishia of Wooton, KY and one beloved daughter, Crystal Morgan of Stinnett, KY, three sisters, Jackie Morgan & husband, Estill of Beverly, KY, Sharla Brock of Stoney Fork, KY and Charlene Wilson of St. Louis, MO, three cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Morgan, and Makayla Helton. Special family members, Scott Bowling and Shannon Morgan. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. – Wednesday, February 03, 2021 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. and Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Glady Branch Cemetery at Stinnett. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. – Tuesday evening at the church.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
