Betty Joseph

Betty Jane Joseph, age 73 of Hazard, KY, formally of Yeaddiss, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 03, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was born October 08, 1940 in Bainbridge, OH to the union of the late Roy and Dorothy Brown Shoemaker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, watching television and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty was also an avid UK Basketball fan. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Isaac Joseph and a host of brothers and sisters. Betty leaves surviving, two sons: Rodney A. Joseph of Hazard, KY and Roger Joseph of Wooton, KY; one daughter: Tammy Clark of Wooton, KY; one brother: Lester Shoemaker of Greenfield, OH; one sister: Shirley Everhart of Greenfield, OH; three cherished grandchildren: Anthony Dwayne Clark, Amanda Sue Clark and Hannah Jalene Joseph. A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 08, 2014 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Donald Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Joseph Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. funeral hour, Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
