Billy Ray Baker

Billy Ray Baker, age 54 of Hwy 484, Saul, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence. Billy Ray was born June 05, 1960 at Hazard, Kentucky to the union of the late Edd Herald and the late Shirley Baker. Billy was a life long resident of Saul, Kentucky. He enjoyed going to church, playing music, especially the tambourine, model cars and taking care of his pets.

Billy Ray leaves surviving, God Parents: Floyd, Jr., and Rachel Couch of Manchester, KY; brothers: Michael Robert Couch of Manchester, KY, Glen Herald, Greg Herald, both of Turners Creek, KY, and Garth Herald of Jackson, KY; Twin siblings: Robin and Robert Davis; three sisters: Terri Michelle Couch Collins of Manchester, KY, Linda Sandlin of Altro, KY, and Jackie Rice of Beattyville, KY; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive his passing.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Mount Paran Baptist Church at Saul, KY with Randy Woods, Robert Rice, Edmond Barger, and Jerry Rice officiating. Burial will follow at the Government Cemetery at Saul, KY. The family and friends for Billy Ray Baker will gather for visitation after 5:00 P.M. - Tuesday evening at the Mount Paran Baptist Church at Saul, Kentucky.
