Mr. Billy Glen Wilder, born May 20, 1947 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Howard and Ethel Couch Wilder. He departed this life on Thursday, October 06, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. He was 64 Years 4 months and 16 days of age and was residing at 719 Hurts Creek Road, Hyden, KY at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a truck builder, formally employed by Premier MFG Co. He leaves the following relatives surviving. His loving wife June Hoskins Wilder, five sons Billy Wayne Wilder, wife Christy of Hyden, Michael Howard Wilder,wife Kim of Sizerock, Ky., Bobby Darren Wilder of Hyden, Travis Glen Wilder, wife April of Dayton, Ohio and James Monroe Wombles, wife Bennel of Dayton, Ohio. Three daughters Ethel Carol Jean Joseph, husband Daniel of Brazil, Indiana, Sandra Kay Salyers, husband Russell of Nancy, Ky., and Theresa Wilder of Indianapols, Indiana. One brother, Ed Wilder of Hyden. Four sisters Wanda Jean Leath, husband Willy of Flat Lick, Ky., Ruth Couch of Hyden, Lois Mosely, husband Harold of Hyden, Betty Lou Bray, husband Pete of Red Bird, Ky. Also thirteen grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Wilder is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ethel Wilder, two brothers, Bruce & Ralph Wilder, two grandchildren Javon Ray Joseph, and Daniel Ray Joseph Jr. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Demas Couch and Stevie Owsley officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery, Hyden, Ky.. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 6:00-10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m..
