Billy Monroe "Wild Bill" Wooton

Mr. Billy Monroe "Wild Bill" Wooton of Wooton, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. Bill was 62. He was born at Hazard, Kentucky, September 13, 1955 to the union of the late Ottis Hilgar Wooton and the late Earnestine Bowling Wooton. Bill was a life-long resident of Leslie County. By occupation, Bill was a truck driver. He was united in marriage to Heather Kilburn on June 15, 1989 in Hyden, KY. Bill enjoyed time with family and friends, fishing, ATV riding and wrestling. Bill was a loving, accepting and giving person. Bill never saw a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Sue Hoskins, father-in-law, Charlie Kilburn, sister-in-law, Sandra Wooton and brother-in-law, Linsey Benton.

Billie Monroe Wooton leaves behind his wife, Heather Kilburn Wooton; one daughter, Christa Stidham Brock (Pete); two brothers, Jackie Dean Wooton and Dwayne Wooton (A.J.); two sisters, Wanda Carol Adams (Doug), and Janie Benton (Steven); one granddaughter, Emmaleigh Collins; mother-in-law, Carolyn Kilburn; sisters-in-law, Tracey Estridge (Jim), Tiffany Hensley (Anthony), and Kimberly Kilburn; a host of other family and friends also survive his passing.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Tim Reynolds and Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooton Family Cemetery at Wooton, KY. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home chapel.
