Bobby Rex Coots

Mr. Bobby Rex Coots, born July 15, 1950 to the late Hurlen Coots, Sr. and the late Cora Bailey Coots. He departed this life on Friday, December 24, 2010 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was 60 years, 5 months and 9 days of age and was residing at 1458 Cutshin Road, Wooton, KY. He was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, gardening and playing with his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents: Hurlen Coots Sr. and Cora Bailey Coots. One sister: Polly Marie Bramel, one infant brother: Hurlen Coots and father-in-law: Avon Lewis. Bobby leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving & devoted wife: Lorene Lewis Coots of Wooton, KY, two sons: Bobby Patrick Coots & Candice of Hazard, KY and Christopher Shane Coots of Wooton, KY. Four brothers: G.T. Coots, Chuck Coots & Alene, Junior Coots & Maggie Sue and Mark Coots & Janice all of Yeaddiss, KY. Five sisters: Rosalee Kilburn & Donald, Joyce Boggs & James, Lorraine Boggs & Denver and Judy Adams all of Yeaddiss, KY and Mackey Childers & Eldon of Annville, KY. His beloved mother-in-law: Mavie Lewis of Smilax, KY. Two brothers-in-law: Donnie Lewis and David Lewis & Linda both of Smilax, KY. Three sisters-in-law: Loretta Turpin of Smilax, KY, Geraldine Gilbert & Willie Ray of East Bernstadt, KY and Merkie Joseph & Bobby of Smilax, KY. A host of other special family and friends also survive.
