Mr. Bobby "Bob" Windon Feltner of 229 Valley View Drive, Essie, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Albert B. Chandler U.K. Hospital in Lexington, KY at the age of 77 years. Bob was born July 06, 1935 at Confluence, Kentucky to the union of the late William and Lucinda Campbell Feltner, one of twelve children. Bob was a United States Army veteran, having proudly served in the Korean conflict. He was united in marriage to his loving and devoted wife, Margaret "Midge" Feltner in 1966. In his formative years, Bob worked as a deputy sheriff in Clay County and worked as the Maintenance Director at Cardinal Hill. Bob also was a welder at Mosler Safe Co. in Hamilton, OH. He was a section supervisor at Rockwell International. Bob worked from 1975 to 1978 as Forrest Warden at Oneida Baptist Institute. He and his wife, Midge worked tirelessly for 4 years as volunteers at the institute after their employment. Bob was a member of the New Hope Community Outreach Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He worked and aided in the church's food ministry for some time. Bob enjoyed farming as well. Bob is preceded in death by his parents: William and Lucinda Campbell Feltner; 3 sons: Billy Carrington, Russell Feltner and Doug Feltner; 4 brothers: Bill, Bert, Herald and Hubert; 2 infant brothers: Russell David and Roby; 4 sisters: Dessie, Delphia, Hester and Geneva. Mr. Bobby "Bob" Feltner leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Margaret "Midge" Feltner of Essie, KY; 2 sons: Brian Feltner (Marilyn) of Essie, KY and Richard Feltner (Kari) of Hamilton, OH; 3 daughters: Vickie Lynn Howard of Hamilton, OH; Patricia Speicher of Hope Mills, N.C. and Terre Williams (Bruce) of Enterprise, AL; 1 brother: Lowell Feltner (Beverly) of Berea, KY; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive his passing. Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby "Bob" Feltner will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the New Hope Christian Outreach Center - Gorman Hollow Road - Hazard, Kentucky with Mike Barnett and Bruce Williams officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Feltner Cemetery at Essie, KY. The Feltner Family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Church.
