Brenda Gail Begley

BRENDA GAIL BEGLEY of Brandenburg, Kentucky, passed surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the age of 69 years, 06 months and 09 days. Born November 22, 1946 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the union of the late John and Grace Hoskins Henrichs. Brenda spent her formative years in Hyden and was a graduate of Leslie County High School. Brenda had resided in Louisville, Kentucky for the past 31 years. She retired from the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville, Kentucky after 27 years of service. She cared for the students as if they were her own children. In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed quilting and playing Solitaire. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Begley, Sr., sisters, Annette Mosley and Sue Mosley, one infant sister, Sadie Juanita Henrichs, and father-in-law, Ted Begley.

Survivors include, one son, Daniel Begley, Jr. & Michele of Louisville, KY, one daughter, Kimberley Hanners & Bob of Brandenburg, KY, one sister, Betty Orberson of Wooton, KY, four cherished grandchildren, Amanda Begley & Tim, Alexander Hanners, Andrew Hanners and Eli Begley, five great-grandchildren, Paige Hall, Evan Hanners, Calli Hanners, Sydni Hanners, and Noah Kaminsky, one great grandchild to be, December 2016.

A graveside service for Brenda G. Begley will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the Ted Begley Cemetery at Confluence, Kentucky with Sam Baer officiating and burial will follow.

Complete arrangements are being handled under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
