Brenda Stevens

Brenda Stevens, 61 of Bull Creek Road, Thousandsticks, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 03, 1955 in Leslie County, a daughter of the late Boyd and Zilpha Sizemore Asher. Brenda was a homaker and enjoyed fishing, ginseng hunting and yard sales.

Survivors include, her loving husband, Roddy Stevens; three sons, Sherman Asher (Pam) of Hazard, KY, Junior Asher (Lenora) of Hyden, KY, and Roddy Wayne Stevens of Hyden, KY. Other survivors include, three brothers, Wayne Asher (Lee) of Wooton, KY, Boyd Asher, Jr. (Martha) of Hyden, KY, and Sherman Asher of Oneida, KY; two sisters, Carol Begley (R.J.) of London, KY and Virgie Couch of Hyden, KY; beloved grandchildren, Chassidy Asher, Jesse Asher, Blake Asher, Trent Asher, ; special niece, Jerenda Burns and Samantha Coots.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Couch and Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher-Jones Cemetery at Thousandsticks, Kentucky. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home chapel.
