Brittany Yvonne Davidson, age 31 of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Leslie County, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Terri Smith and the late Steve Davidson. She was a United States Navy veteran, having served honorably for 6 years. She was graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where she obtained a bachelors degree in police studies. She worked as a technical support operator, employed by Conduent Technical Help Service. Her hobbies included fishing, boating, and playing the guitar. Brittany was preceded in death by her father, Steve Davidson, one brother, Jonathan Davidson, paternal grandfather, Donnie Davidson and maternal grandmother, Fern Collett Hall.
Survivors include her mother, Terri Smith and husband, Vic of Woodbine, Kentucky, brother, Stephen Davidson and wife Sonya of Stinnett, Kentucky, Charleston Smith and friend Gabrielle Patrick of Woodbine, Kentucky; two very special cousins that are like brothers, Jason and James Hacker; one sister, Katy Smith and husband Kyle Farmer of McKee, Kentucky; a special nephew, Liam Barrett of Woodbine, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Hacker of Stinnett, Kentucky, and maternal grandfather, Elmer Barrett of Stinnett, Kentucky; Along with a host of other cherished relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lower Jacks Creek Methodist Church with James Savage, Roger Wolfe, and Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Collett Cemetery at Essie, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the church after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening until the funeral hour Wednesday.
