Carol Lynn Sandlin

Carol Lynn Sandlin of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at the age of 52 Years, 04 Months and 6 Days. She was born August 09, 1963 in Hamilton, OH to the union of Daphne Barger and the late Tilford Barger. Carol was a life-long resident of Clay County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her three children, making flower arrangements and playing bingo. Other than her father, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sandlin; two sons, Phillip Wayne and Buford Sandlin.

Carol is survived by her beloved mother, Daphne Barger of London, KY; one son, Kenny Sandlin and Fiance', Ashley; two brothers, Rusty Barger of Lily, KY and Darryl Barger of Manchester, KY; two sisters, Debra Kay Gay of Saul, KY and Charlotte Davidson of Manchester, KY; four cherished grandchildren, Gage, Abby, Kellsey and Roxy; She is also survived by a host of beloved nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Mount Paran Baptist Church at Saul, KY. The burial will follow at the Government Cemetery at Saul. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. Saturday evening at the church.
