Carolyn Wells Howard

Carolyn Wells Howard, born September 22, 1958 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late John D. Causey and the late Cinda Turner. She departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Albert Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was 53 years of age and was residing at 67 Alaska Drive, Wendover, Kentucky at the time of her passing. Carolyn was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation, she was a former employee of the Frontier Nursing Service. She was a member of the Pine Mountain Church of God of the Apostles Doctrine at Bledsoe, KY. Carolyn enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Pleas Causey. Mrs. Carolyn Wells Howard leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: David Howard of Wendover, KY; two beloved daughters: Alicia Kay Wells and husband, Robert of Wendover, KY and Brenda Leann Hensley and husband, Aaron of Wooton, KY; Four step-children: Julie Cotter and husband, Melvin of Bardstown, KY, Amy Howard of Bardstown, KY, Brian Howard of Rutledge, TN and Wendy Howard of Corbin, KY; Two brothers: Willie Causey and wife, Patsy of Bear Branch, KY and Winfred Causey and wife, Brenda Sue of Bledsoe, KY; One step-brother: Harold Wayne Pennington & Joyce; One sister: Phyllis Harmon of Bear Branch, KY; Three grandchildren: Brandon Wells, Hannah Wells and Kayley Hensley; Five step-grandchildren: Austin, Zack, Blake, Meghan and Abby; Special friends: Christine Collins, Linda Sawyers and Joe Shepherd; A host of other special family and friends also survive.
