Clara Jean (Sizemore) Jones

Clara Jean Jones was born June 15, 1950 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Johnny & Ruth Helen Begley Sizemore.  Clara was a homemaker and had a degree in cosmetology.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.  She departed this walk of life on Tuesday, August 30, 2021 at her home.  She was 71 years old.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by a son, Robert Keith Jones and a brother, Larry Wayne Sizemore.

Survivors include, three sons, Thomas D. Jones (Tammy) of Lexington, KY, Marc Jones and Eric Lee Jones, both of Hyden, KY.  Other survivors include one brother, Eddie Sizemore (Polly) and her beloved grandchildren, Marc, Jake, Adam, Leah, Jessica, Johnny, Bryant (Erica) and Robert; six beloved great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. – Monday, September 06, 2021 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Roger Wolfe officiating.  Interment will follow in the Melton Cemetery at Wooton, KY with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1p.m. on Monday at the chapel.
