INTERMENT: Clifton Adams Family Cemetery – Hyden, Kentucky

VISITATION: 6pm – 9pm – Saturday evening at the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Clifton Adams, of Hyden, Kentucky was born January 24, 1938 in Hyden, Kentucky.  He was born to the union of the late Coy and Ella Lewis Adams.  Clifton had been a life-long resident of Hyden, Kentucky, and by occupation he was a retired coal miner.  He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Viola Howard on July 13, 1957 in Hyden, Kentucky.  Clifton enjoyed coon hunting and riding his four-wheeler.  In addition to his parents, Clifton was preceded in death by one beloved daughter, Carolyn Adams, a cherished grandson, Daniel Lee Adams, three brothers, Dexter, Ivan, and Richmond; one sister, Tyler Farler.

Clifton leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Viola Howard Adams of Hyden, KY;  three beloved sons,  Clifton Adams, Jr. & wife, Joan and Victor Adams & wife, Willa, both of Hyden, KY, and Ed Adams & wife, Becky of Gurley, AL;  five brothers, Clinton Adams and Pearl “Hank” Adams, both of OH, Carlos Adams of Hyden, KY, Van Adams of London, KY, and Corbin Adams of OH;  seven cherished grandchildren,  Bryan Adams & wife, Kristin, Joshua Adams & wife, Elizabeth, Rebecca Adams, Travis Adams, Jordan Adams, Zack Adams, and Nate Adams.  As well as a multitude of other relatives and friends.
