Connie Faye Napier Burlew, 60, of Manchester, Kentucky (Formerly of Leslie Co) departed this life on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at Advent Health in Manchester, Kentucky. Connie was born January 4th, 1963 in Elkhorn of Leslie County to the union of the late Frank Napier and the late Pauline Napier Watkins.
She was a homemaker and in her former years, Connie worked as a nurse aid and waitress. Connie was of the Baptist faith.
Connie was described as an amazing person. She always gave her whole heart to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She cherished the time spent with her family. Connie had a great sense of humor; she was known for her Christmas candy, and especially her bourbon balls. She enjoyed watching television and doing arts and crafts.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one sister: Nellie Curry.
Connie leaves behind, her husband: Roger Burlew II; one daughter: Samantha Caudill of Manchester, KY; one brother: Calvin Napier of London, KY; five sisters: Patsy Lemons of Manchester, KY, Diane Gray of London, KY, Linda Mitchell of Manchester, KY, Hettie Feltner of Manchester, KY, and Juanita Tucker of Paducah, KY; two cherished grandchildren: Kerrian Caudill and Brayden Caudill, both of Manchester, KY; one uncle: Thurman Gibson of Sizerock, KY and one aunt: Cassie Hensley Begley of Hyden, KY; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 11a.m. – Wednesday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Barger Cemetery at Elkhorn, KY.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5p.m. until 8p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
