Cynthia Fields was born November 04, 1940 in Perry County, KY to the union of the late Monroe and Nancy Farler Cody. She departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center at the age of 72 years. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Marion "Tootsie" Fields on April 04, 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, KY. Cynthia enjoyed sewing, four wheeling, going to church, cooking and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother: Willis Cody; sister: Merkie; Nephew: James Collins; Cynthia leaves surviving the following relatives: Her loving and devoted husband: Marion "Tootsie" Fields of Smilax, KY; 4 sons: Marion Fields, Jr. (Glenda), Darnell Fields (Gail), Charles Christopher Fields (Judy) and Joey Dwight Fields (Terri) all of Smilax, KY; 2 daughters: Pauline Davidson (Roger) and Darlene Surer (Timothy) both of Smilax, KY; 2 brothers: Lester Cody (Bertha) and Charles Cody, both of Viper, KY; 3 sisters: Cassie Cody, Berthie Fields, Judy Fields (Raleigh) all of Viper, KY; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted for Cynthia Fields at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from the Right Fork Church of Christ with Tommy Fields, Virgil Hurt, Micheal Joseph and Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Smilax, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Monday, April 22, 2013 at the church.
