Dean Eversole

Dean Eversole, age 75 of Hyden, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H Medical Center in Hazard, KY.

Dean was born January 20, 1948 in Perry County, KY, the son of the late McGrew and Laura Rose Eversole.

He enjoyed hunting fishing, wood working, and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. By occupation, Dean was a self employed carpenter. He was united in marriage to Sherry Walters on February 28, 1970 in Jellico, Tennessee.

Dean was preceded in death by his beloved parents, McGrew & Laura Rose Eversole, one son, Jason Dean Eversole and three brothers, Eddie McGrew Eversole, Bill Monroe Eversole, and Carson Eversole.

Survivors include, His loving & devoted wife, Sherry Eversole of Hyden, Kentucky, one son, Jimmy Dean Eversole (Brenda) of Hyden, Kentucky and one daughter, Lisa Leona Lynn Morgan of Hyden, Kentucky.  Other survivors include his brothers, Bert Eversole (Jessica) of Hyden, Kentucky, Roscoe Eversole (Cathy) of Buckhorn, Kentucky, Jerry Eversole of Metamora, Indiana, Terry Eversole (Becky) of Hyden, Kentucky, and Terry McGrew Eversole of Hoskinston, Kentucky.  His sisters, Serina Morgan (Bobby) of Hoskinston, Kentucky, SaraLene Whitaker (Greg) of Hyden, Kentucky, Reda Fugate of Hazard, Kentucky and Poshia Lewis of Hyden, Kentucky.  Four cherished grandchildren, Wyatt Dean Eversole, and Honesty Dalena Eversole, Cindy Lee Morgan and Mitchell Lee Morgan.  One great grandchild, Everette Hertel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stinnett Church of Christ with Jarrod (Bub) Eversole officiating.

Burial will follow in family cemetery at Peach Orchard, Hyden, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening after 5:00 p.m.
