Deanna (Madden) Baker

Deanna Baker, born on May 28, 1973 in Harlan County, the daughter of Doug and Betty Williams Madden.  Deanna was united in marriage to Larry Baker on July 03, 1991, in Casey County.  By occupation, she was a cook, employed by the Hyden Health and Rehab.  She loved being outdoors and all outdoor activities, especially, 4-wheeler rides, camping, and fishing.

Deanna departed this life on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 48.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Polly and Denver Williams and one aunt, Wanda Slusher.

Deanna leaves behind her beloved parents, Doug & Betty Williams Madden of Yeaddiss, KY; loving & devoted husband, Larry Baker of Yeaddiss, KY, two sons, Jesse Baker (Ally) and Jacob Baker (Kristine), both of Georgetown, KY, one daughter, Kellie Collett (Joseph) of Hyden, KY, one brother, Wesley Madden of Yeaddiss, KY and four cherished grandchildren, Ashton, Brooklyn, Braiden, and Raelynn.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm – Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Beatty Branch Church of God in Christ Jesus with Pastor Larry Lewis & Roger Wolfe officiating.  Interment will follow the service at the Jim & Opha Baker Cemetery (Beatty Branch) Wooton, KY.   The Baker family will receive friends for visitation after 6pm - Tuesday evening at the church.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
