Della M. Caldwell

Della M. Caldwell of Stinnett, KY passed away at Mary Breckinridge Hospital on Friday, May 17, 2013. She was 72 years, 02 months and 29 days of age at the time of her passing. Della was born on February 18, 1941. She was born in Stinnett, Kentucky, one of eleven children to the union of the late Marshall and Prudie Smith North. Della was a life long resident of Leslie County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Muncy's Creek Holiness Church at Stinnett, Kentucky. Della enjoyed shopping, gardening, picnicking and camping. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Marshall and Prudie Smith North; her husband: Dewey Caldwell and one brother: Marshall North, Jr. Della M. Caldwell leaves behind the following relatives: 4- brothers: Clay North (Daisy) of Stinnett, KY, Bradley North of Oneida, KY, Larry North (Connie) of Manchester, KY and Douglas North (Marlene) of Stinnett, KY; 5-sisters: Martha Gibson (Otis) of Oneida, KY, Polly Tolson of Stinnett, KY, Lola Taylor (Donnie) of Stinnett, KY, Edith Caldwell (Doug) of Helton, KY and Wanda F. Hacker (Robert Lee) of Stinnett, KY; Special friend and companion: Scott Coots of Stinnett, KY; A Host of other family and friends also survive her passing. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Mary Breckinridge Hospital and a special thanks to Nurse, Dwayne Taylor for his kindness and genuine concern. Funeral services for Della M. Caldwell will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Sunday, May 19, 2013 from the Muncy's Creek Holiness Church at Stinnett, KY with Steve Hacker, Jeffery Hacker, Logan Roberts and Hiram Jent officiating. Burial will follow the services at the North Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Steve Hacker, Donnie Taylor, Marshall Clay, Blake Taylor and Terry W. Taylor. The family will receive friends for visitation after 3:00 P.M. - Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the church.
