Diane Spurlock

Diane Spurlock, 56, of Asher, KY, died Friday at Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James and Helen Bowman Purvis. She was born February 08, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jimmy and Dennis Purvis, Ester Martina Lewis, and Jackie Brummett.

Survivors include, two sons, Eldon Turner and wife, Shirrie of Annville, Kentucky, and Rudy Spurlock of Asher, Kentucky; two brothers, Arnold Ray Purvis and wife, Betty of Sandgap, KY, and Kenneth Purvis and wife, Angie of Thousandsticks, Kentucky; two sisters, Sandra Purvis and husband, Delbert of Stinnett, Kentucky, and Roberta Rice and husband, Paul of Hyden, Kentucky; six beloved grandchildren, Kaleb Payne (grandson she raised), Jasmine Flannery, Andrea Finch, Erica Dolton, Braydon Spurlock, and Gavin Spurlock; great-grandchild, Cooper Flannery; a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Roscoe Asher and Jeffery Advoatts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at 2:00 P.M.
