Donald N. Daniel of Corbin, KY was born June 6, 1937 in Michigan to the late Lurton and Stella Kathey Daniel.  He served honorably in the National Guard.  He was united in marriage to Irma Colwell on July 21, 1989 in Flint, MI.  Donald was retired from General Motors Company where he worked many years in management.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and keeping his yard groomed.  He enjoyed caring for and playing with his pet chihuahuas.  Donald enjoyed his home life and cared much for his neighborhood. Donald departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home in Corbin.  He was 82 years old.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his beloved in-laws, Jack and Edith Colwell; three brothers and one sister.

Donald leaves behind, his loving and devoted wife, Irma Daniel of Corbin, KY;  two sons, Mark Daniel (Patricia) and John Daniel, both of MI; three daughters, Julie Reynolds (Shawn) of TX; Valerie Lussier (Henry) of MI and Melissa Austin if FL; special “sissy” in-law, Aline Colwell, sisters-in-law, Shirley Farley and Whilhelmine Howard; five cherished grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
