Estill Collins

Mr. Estill Collins of 4970 Polls Creek Road, Smilax, KY passed away on Thursday, June 06, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH. He was 51 years, 1 month and 20 days of age at the time of his passing. He was born in Leslie County, KY, the son of the late Norman Collins and Thlema Fields Day. Estill was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a former coal miner. Estill enjoyed four wheeling and hunting. Estill is preceded in death by his father: Norman Collins and Brother: James Collins. Mr. Estill Collins leaves surviving: His loving mother and step-father: Thelma and Willie Day of Smilax, KY; 1 Son: Aaron Collins; 4 brothers: Gary Day (Freda), Anthony Day (Joyce), Tim Day (Becky), all of Smilax, KY and Kevin Day (Candice) of Yeaddiss, KY; A host of other family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Sunday, June 09, 2013 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the W.M. Day Cemetery at Smilax, KY. Anthony Day, Tim Day, Austin Day and Kevin Day will serve as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Saturday, June 08, 2013 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
