Eugene "Blue" Brock

Eugene "Blue" Brock, age 44 of Hyden, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Hazard A. R. H. Medical Center. He was born on October 16, 1970 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Wendall and Winnie Sizemore Brock. By occupation, Eugene was a former Deputy Jailor and Coal Miner. He was a member of the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher, Kentucky. Eugene enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Other than his parents, Eugene is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Brock and one brother: Donald Lynn Brock.
Eugene "Blue" Brock leaves surviving, four brothers: Kenneth Brock of Dayton, OH, Wesley Brock, Billy Brock, and Ballard "Junior" Brock (Melina), all of Hyden, KY; one sister: Laura Brock Sizemore (Daniel) of Hyden, KY; nine special nieces: Crystal, Kyna, Victoria, Jeanee, Abbey, Courtney, Barbie, Rayan, and Hope; seven special nephews: Kenny, D.J., Derrick, Jeramy, Wesley, Jr., Cody, and Logan; A host of other cherished family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 04, 2015 at the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher, Kentucky with John Whitehead, and Eugene "Friday" Roberts officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Albert Morgan Cemetery at Hoskinston, Kentucky. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Thursday, until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church.
