Eunice Jackie"" Hoskins

Ms. Eunice "Jackie" Farmer Hoskins, age 92 of Stinnett, KY passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. She was the widow of the late Hobert Hoskins. She was born March 16, 1920 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Barney and Opha Morgan Farmer. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was residing at Stinnett - Wendover Road, Stinnett, KY at the time of her passing. Eunice was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed caring for others. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Eunice is preceded in death by: her parents; husband: Hobert Hoskins; 2 sons: Freeman "Shorty" Hoskins and Hobert Hoskins, Jr.; 2 brothers: Coolidge Farmer and Arnold Farmer; 1 sister: Anna Lee Pennington; 1 grandson: John. Ms. Eunice "Jackie" Hoskins leaves surviving the following relatives: 2 daughters: Yvonne Hacker of Stinnett, KY and Phyllis Morgan (Leo)of Dayton, OH and daughter-in-law: Barbara Hoskins of Asher, KY; Special caregiver: Sonya Embrey; 8 grandchildren: Steve (Carla) of Bledsoe, KY, Donna (Darren) of Stinnett, KY, Jimmy Dean of Dayton, OH, Renee (Troy) of Hyden, KY, Ava (Brian) of Stinnett, KY, Dena (Paul) of Hyden, KY, Dernonnie of Hyden, KY and Zack (Teresa) of London, KY; 10 great-grandchildren: Steve, John, Brittany, Ashley, Kacey, Brandon, Matt, Alex, Denisha and Peyton; A host of other family and friends also survive her passing. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Transtar Ambulance and the E.R. Staff of the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H for their kindness and efforts. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Monday, February 04, 2013 from the Stinnett Church of Christ with Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Farmer Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Sunday, February 03, 2013 at the church.
