Favien Lashon, Jr

Favien Lashon, Jr., born June 26, 1943 in Skowhegan, Maine to the union of Favien Lashon, Sr. and Evelyn Perkins. He departed this life on May 07, 2010 at the Albert Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 66 years, 10 months and 11 days of age. He was residing at 50 Song Bird Lane, Hyden, Ky at the time of his death. He had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 30 years coming from Indiana. He spent his earlier years in Maine. By occupation he was a retired senior Custodian, employed by the Leslie County Fiscal Court. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served proudly served his country. He enjoyed wood working, traveling and site seeing. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Pauline Cole and one nephew: Bobby Cole. Mr. Favien Lashon, Jr. leaves the following surviving: His loving and devoted wife: Betty Lou Roach Lashon of Hyden, KY. 3 Sons: David Rex Lewis, Jr. and Tonya of Wooton, KY; Favien Lashon III and Connie of Indiana; William Anthony Lewis and Melissa of London, KY. 3 Daughters: Corinna Ruth Lashon Davidson of London, KY; Angela Luella Pennington and Rodney of Stinnett, KY; Crystal Gail Eversole of London, KY. Special Friends: Dwayne Adams and Family and Mack Muncy. His pet companion: Lucky. 14 grandchildren: Bobby Paul Brown, Stephanie Lynne Smith, Marcus Coots, Mahala Ann Lewis, Jacob Kyle Lewis, Chase Smith, Melinda Renee Lewis, Favien Lashon IV, Dalton Daniel Roberts, Jessie Eversole, Kayla Adams, Devin Adams, Casey Adams and Erica Davidson.
