Florence "Mable" Brock

Florence "Mable" Brock, of Warbranch, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center at the age of 64 years, 08 months and 10 days. Florence, also known as Mable by many of her friends and family was born March 10, 1951 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Elzie Caldwell and Hannah Brock Caldwell. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County, a homemaker and a dedicated member of the Mozelle Pentecostal Church. Florence was united in marriage to Mike Brock, Jr. in 1969 in Virginia. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and cooking. Other than her parents, Florence is preceded in death by brothers, Henry (Helen) Caldwell, Matt (Juanita) Caldwell, Allen Caldwell and Amon Caldwell; sisters, Carolyn Caldwell Clarkson, Nancy Ray and Cynthia Ray; nephews: Elzie "Twiggie" Caldwell, Kevin Bailey and Dwight Napier; nieces, Mindy Clarkson, Quillend and Judy Napier; special friend, Chesna Ward.

Survivors include, her loving and devoted husband, Mike Brock, Jr. of Warbranch, KY; three sons, Elzie Brock of Warbrach, KY, Allen Brock (Betty) of Asher, KY and Jay Caldwell of Warbrach, KY; two brothers, Millard Caldwell (Phronia) and Claude Caldwell (Diane), both of Warbranch, KY; One Sister, Katherine Bailey of Holly Ridge, North Carolina; adopted brother, Mike Caldwell; her cherished grandchildren, Elzie Brock, Preston Brock, Meghan Brock, Janessa Brock, Megan Hill and Isaac Brock; two great-grandchildren, Darris and Carter Hill; special friends, Lucille Roberts, Lena Brock, Linda Fee, Phebie Caldwell, Phronia Caldwell and Doug Nantz; A host of family, church family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY with Logan Roberts, Mitchell Brock and Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery at Rye Cove. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Monday evening at the church.
