Garry Dean Rice

Mr. Garry Dean (Sidwinder) Rice was born May 13, 1948 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Claude Rice and the late Polly Mosley Rice. He departed this life on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH. He was 64 years of age and was residing at 56 Wilder Branch Road, Hyden, KY at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a self employed truck driver. Garry was a United States Veteran having served honorably in the United States Army. Garry Dean is preceded in death by: his parents; wife: Patricia Moore; Daughter: Shari Campbell; brother: Claude Rice, Jr.; sister: Rossetta Tuttle. Mr. Garry Dean Rice leaves the following relatives surviving: Three sons: Tony Moore & Audrey, Tommy Hopewell and Rhonda and Donnie Kistner all of Hyden, KY; Three dughters: Polly Rice of Hyden, KY, Sharon Saylor and Leonard of Barbourville, KY and Kim Hall and Michael of Wooton, KY; Two brothers: Doug Rice of Richmond, KY and Randy Rice of Hyden, KY; One sister: Pat Rice of Hazard, KY; 16 grandchildren, one special grandchild: Jaelynn Sizemore and 5 great grandchildren. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.
