Gillous Oneal Napier

Mr. Gillous Oneal Napier was born February 22, 1940 in Leslie County Kentucky to the union of the late Mitchell and Dallie Couch Napier. Gillous passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 05, 2017 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. at the age of 77. Gillous was residing at Thousandsticks, Kentucky at the time of his passing. Gillous, a Leslie County native, was a retired Dozer operator. He enjoyed gardening, riding his Kubota, working on motors, going to flea markets and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his great nephew, Jaden Scalf who called him "2 Daddy". Gillous was a beloved father, husband, brother and friend.

In addition to his parents, Gillous was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Lillie Osborne Napier, one brother, Robert Napier, and three sisters, Maggie Napier Lank, Vermell Salyers and Lelia Waters.

Gillous leaves behind, his beloved son: David Sheridan Napier and wife, Connie whom he loved as a daughter, of Thousandsticks, KY; one brother, Pearl Napier of Bear Branch, KY. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 09, 2017 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at the Sheridan Osborne Cemetery at Thousandsticks, Kentucky. Family & friends may gather for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday evening at the chapel.
