Glenn Collett, 66 of Bimble, Kentucky, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his residence. Glenn was born August 07, 1950 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Carl and Hazel Collett. Glenn was a former resident of Leslie County. By occupation, Glenn was a former coal miner. He enjoyed four-wheeling and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Partin and two children, Elizabeth and Travis.

Glenn leaves behind his wife, Marilyn Collett of Bimble, KY, a son, Jonathan Collett (Tammie) of Bimble, KY; five brothers, John Collett (Ethel) of Hazard, KY, Roscoe Collett (Helen) of Roark, KY, Gary Lee Collett of Roark, KY, Carlos Collett (Penny) of Roark, KY, and Lynn Collett of Bearbranch, KY; two sisters, Chelsie Shepherd of London, KY and Brenda Sue Collett of Bearbranch, KY; two grandchildren, Nancy Elizabeth Collett and Lonnie Jason Glenn Nantz (Jennifer), two great-grandchildren, Kaliana Collett and Issac Collett. A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, at the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church with Chuck Jack and James Bowling, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Collett Cemetery at Essie, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 5:00 P.M., Thursday evening at the church.
