Glenna Faye Morgan

Glenna Faye Morgan, born on July 21, 1961, in Leslie County, Kentucky, passed away on April 12, 2025, at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. 

Glenna is remembered as a cherished member of her family.  She found immense joy in being surrounded by her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be by those who knew her. 

Glenna was particularly fascinated with Christmas lights, which brought her an abundance of happiness. Additionally, she enjoyed watching television, often finding comfort and joy in the stories and characters that filled her screen.

Glenna's family includes three devoted brothers: Charles Morgan of Hyden, KY, Wyckliffe Morgan, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Dayton, OH, and James Gregory Morgan of Hoskinston, KY. She is also survived by her nephew Anthony Morgan, her nieces Kathy Morgan (Justin Kessler) and Nykol Morgan (Jake Wells), and one very special niece, Brooklyn T. Morgan. In addition to her immediate family, Glenna leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Wyckliffe Morgan and Elva Morgan, as well as her brother Melvin Morgan, sister Mendy Morgan Whitehead, and niece Angela Page Ray. 

The funeral service to commemorate Glenna's life will be held at 1p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Jerry Maggard and Patrick Morgan officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Albert Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY.

Friends and family may gather for visitation from 11am until the service hour at 1p.m. At the chapel on Friday. 

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
