Harold Howard

Harold Howard was born July 16, 1929 in Hyden, Kentucky, a son of the late Lish and Effie Smith Howard.  Harold was a coal miner by occupation and had been a life-long resident of Mozelle, Kentucky.  In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by one daughter, Marie Garrison, three brothers, Glenn, Smith and Denver Howard, one sister, June Nowling.  Harold departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.  Harold was 91 years old.

Harold leaves behind three beloved sons, Freddie Howard of Mozelle, KY, Dean Howard of Manchester, KY and Glenn Howard of Bledsoe, KY, one beloved daughter, Sue Slusher of Mozelle, KY.  Also surviving are eight cherished grandchildren and three cherished great-grandchildren.

All Services for Mr. Harold Howard will be private at the family’s request.  Interment will be in the Howard Cemetery at Mozelle, Kentucky.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
