Harold Ritchie, of Bledsoe, Kentucky was born October 04, 1966, a son of the late Roosevelt and Bessie Ritchie. Harold departed this life on October 19, 2017 in Harlan, Kentucky at the age of 51. Harold had been a life-long resident of Ohio & Bledsoe, Kentucky. By occupation, Harold was a logger. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for ginseng, four wheel ride and be involved with horses.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by one brother, David Little and two nephews, Herbie Napier and Brandon Ross Nantz.
Survivors include four sons, Brandon, Harold, Jr., Teddy, and Preston Ritchie; three brothers, John Ritchie (Susie) and Eddie Wayne Little (Gerri) of Bledsoe, KY and Junior Sandlin (Robin) of Whitesburg, KY; two sisters, Brenda Ritchie of Bledsoe, KY and Joanne Nantz (Roscoe) of Helton, KY; his loving companion and mother of son, Keeva Hacker, one grandchild and one grandchild to be; nieces and nephews, Shannon Tristan Nantz, Melissa Cooper (Gary), Chassy Colwell (John), Shannon Nantz (Francie), Christopher Sandlin, Byron Sandlin, and Alyssa Sandlin; very special friends, James & Denise Hacker, Teresa Bentley (Montey), Joe Nantz, Clyde Brock and Sid Jackson; a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 1PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Pete Ashby officiating. Burial will follow at the Nantz Cemetery at Helton, KY. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. Monday evening at the chapel.
