Helen Gayhart

Helen Hoskins Gayhart, age 86 of Pierson, FL, departed this walk of life on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Ridge Crest Nursing Home and Rehab Center. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky to the union of the late Billy Hoskins and the late Fannie Jones Hoskins Pace. Helen was a former resident of Leslie County. She had been a resident of Florida since 1972. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and cooking for them. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Other than her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband: William Edward Gayhart; brothers: Stanley, Edward, Hobert and Coolidge Hoskins. sister: Betty Pace Asbury; special daughter-in-law: Rose Gayhart; step-granddaughter: Misty Driggers. Helen is survived by: four sons: Ed Gayhart of Holly Hill, Fl, Brent Gayhart of Pomona Park, Fl, Mark Gayhart of Hyden, Ky, and Gifford Gayhart of Pierson, FL; two daughters: Saundra Gayhart of Sanford, Fl, and Lisa Fee (Lonnie) of Hyden, Ky; one brother: Mark Hoskins (Lee) of Hyden, Ky; Seven grandchildren: Monique, Jarrett, Derek, Lance Michael, Ryan, Dylan, and Talon; three step-grandchildren: Jason, Melanie, and Jimmy; five great- grandchildren: Roscoe, Cassie, Skyller, Riley, and Xylah Rose; six step-great-grandchildren: Amber, Tiffany, Shane, Kaitlyn, Kayla, and Krista; two great-great- grandchildren: Daisy and Charlee; seven step great-great grandchildren: Madison, Jacob, Karley, Dawson, Leann, Xander, and Mora; A host of other family and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Brewer Cemetery at Wooton, Ky. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
