Herman Brock, 61, of Warbranch, KY departed this life on January 12, 2024 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Hazard, KY. He was born on June 9, 1962, in Leslie County, KY to the union of Bertha Mae Roark Randolph & the late Theo Brock. Herman was known for his exceptional problem-solving skills, despite not having a degree in electronic repair. No matter the issue at hand, he could always find a solution.
One of the most notable aspects of Herman's life was his unwavering dedication to his family. He selflessly cared for many of his family members during their times of need. His love and devotion were truly unmatchable.
Herman was an avid animal lover and held a special place in his heart for dogs. His caring and loving nature extended beyond just animals; he had a genuine concern for the well-being of those around him.
In addition to being a compassionate individual, Herman was also hardworking and diligent. He took great pride in his work and approached every task with a strong work ethic.
Herman enjoyed spending time outdoors. Woodwork was also one of his passions, and he had a natural talent for it. His craftsmanship was evident in every piece he created. Furthermore, Herman possessed an innate ability to fix just about anything that came his way.
Throughout his life, one of Herman's proudest accomplishments was his artistic talent as a painter. He created numerous beautiful paintings that showcased his creativity and skill.
In addition to his father, Herman was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Felix & Linda Brock, maternal grandparents: Jesse & Sadie Roark. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Dennis Cogdill.
Herman is survived by his beloved mother and step-father: Bertha Mae Roark Randolph & Carl of Parsons, TN; two sisters: Debbie Brock of Warbranch, KY and Dianna Blankenship & husband, Joey of Parsons, TN; a very special niece he loved dearly: Samantha Gamble & husband, Jason of Middlesboro, KY; a cherished nephew: Shawn Brock of Middlesboro, KY; a cherished niece: Charlotte McQueen of Hazard, KY. He also leaves behind two treasured friends: Loretta Brock and Goldie Brock. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.
The funeral service for Herman will be held at 12 noon - Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the New Hope Community Church with Denver Brock officiating.
Interment will follow at the Brock Cemetery at Mozelle, Kentucky.
Herman's family and friends may gather for visitation after 6p.m. Monday evening at the church.
