James Hacker

Mr. James Edward Hacker, age 49 of Wendover Road, Hyden, Kentcuky, passed away on Friday, February 07, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. James was born in Beverly, Kentucky to the union of Merle and Margaret Morgan Hacker. He was a life long resident of Hyden, KY and by occupation was a former Coal Miner, employed by Shamrock Coal Company and a former self-employed truck driver. James enjoyed working on vehicles, repairing old coins and watching The History Channel. James is preceded in death by: His paternal grandmother: Frances Hacker; maternal grandparents: Ed and Marie Morgan; Uncle: Buck Roberts; Aunt: Ruby Gail Hacker; Cousins: Jamie Roberts and Donna Hacker. James Edward Hacker leaves surviving the following relatives: Paternal grandfather: Ray Hacker of Stinnett, KY; his loving parents: Merle and Margaret Hacker of Hyden, KY; 2 - sons: Merle Hacker (Brandy) of London, KY and Dylan Hacker (Breana Europa) of Roark, KY; Special aunts and uncles: Grace & William Napier of Thousandsticks, KY, Joann Roberts of Essie, KY, Wade Morgan (Norma) of Hyden, KY, Bill Hacker (Louise) of Stinnett, KY, Larry Hacker of Stinnett, KY and Paul Hacker of Dayton, OH; One special granddaughter to be, Emily Renee Hacker; special friends: Big Jim Campbell, Carissia and Trenton Johnson; A host of other family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with James Bowling, Jr. and Ben Swenson officiating. Burial followed in the Ray Hacker Family Cemetery at Knoblick Branch Road, Stinnett, KY. The Hacker family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., Monday, February 10, 2014 at the funeral home chapel. The following will serve as pallbearers: Merle Wayne Hacker, Dylan Hacker, Larry Hacker, Cody Hacker, Scott Hacker, Eddie Boone Pace, Jim Campbell, Mike Roberts, Mike Europa, James Davidson, Robbie Melton, Jack Barger, Tony Hacker, Wayne Hacker, Jamie Rojem and Dan Hoskins.
