Janet Renee Lewis, born December 28, 1955 in Washington State to the union of Ruth Offenheiser and the late Jahugh Morgan. She departed this life on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was 55 years, 03 months and 26 days of age and was residing at Black Gold Lane, Wendover, KY at the time of her passing. By occupation she was a respiratory tech, being employed by Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden. She was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ, the Helping Hands Club, Kentucky Hat Hunters and Leslie Co. Homemakers Club. Janet enjoyed going to church, attending art classes, gardening and canning. She loved working in her flower garden and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation. She loved her face book friends and her love for her family was evident. She is preceded in death by her father: Jahugh Morgan. Janet leaves the following surviving: Her beloved mother: Ruth Morgan of Rutledge, TN, her loving and devoted husband: Mack Lewis of Wendover, KY, one son: Jason McKinley Lewis of Wendover, KY. Two brothers: Joe Morgan & Connie and David J. Morgan & Brenda both of London, KY. One sister: Barbara Cornett & Sammy of Rutledge, TN, special nephew: Hunter Lewis (the light of her life) and special nieces that would call and sing to her at night: Abbey Bernard and Megan Cotter. A host of other loving family, church family and friends also survive. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jason Lewis, Josh Lewis, Quentin Morgan, Jimmy Joe Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Matt Gross, Rusty Gross, Jamie Hayes, Austin Lawson, Tom Watkins and Hobert Watkins.
