Jeffery SPIDER Asher

Jeffery Spider Cornelius Asher, born August 20, 1935 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Lawrence Asher and the late Dolka Bowling. He passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at his home. Spider was 75 years, 04 months and 3 days of age and residing at 4259 Hwy 80, Wooton, KY at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a retired coal miner from Blue Diamond Coal Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Woodrow Edward Asher, Roderick Asher, George Asher and Vetch Asher. One sister: Millie Asher. Spider leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife of 50 years: Norma Jean Lewis Asher of Wooton, KY, three sons: Jeff Asher & Brenda Lynn, Ricky Lynn Asher & Christy and Donnie Ray Asher & Jennifer Lee all of Hyden, KY. One sister: Mildred Howard & Leighman of London, KY. Thirteen grandchildren: Jonathon Asher, Sabrina Hacker & Travis, Kelly Asher, Kenneth Asher, Emily Mosley & Stewart, Jordan Morgan, Nick Morgan, Aarron Morgan, Kim Johnson & Antonio, Sasha Caldwell & Greg, Melissa Shepherd & Jeremy, Alyssa Church and James Church. Seven great grandchildren, Andrew Hacker, Jayden Hacker, Kayleigh Hacker, Tashauna Johnson, Shauntay Caldwell, Preston Causey and Katelyn Shepherd. A host of other special relatives and friends also survive his passing.
