Jennie (Roberts) Turner

Jennie Roberts Turner was born May 20, 1961 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Earl and Rowena Baker Roberts.  Jennie was a life-long resident of Leslie County was currently residing at Thousandsticks, KY.   She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, riding four-wheelers, camping and going to the lake.  Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved sons.

She departed this walk of life on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center at the age of 61.

In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by one cherished granddaughter, Taylynn Turner.

Jennie leaves surviving, her husband, Hobert Turner, Jr. of Thousandsticks, KY, two sons, Travis Turner (Tori) of Thousandsticks, KY, and Joey Turner (Beth) of Wooton, KY.  One daughter, Melanie Turner of Thousandsticks, KY, four brothers, Scottie Roberts (Brandy), Gary Roberts (Deb), Earl Anthony Roberts (Linda) and Donnie Roberts (Linda), all of Stinnett, KY.  One sister, Phyllis Morgan (Jerry) of Somerset, KY, brother-in-law, Clayton Turner, sister-in-law, Brenda Caldwell of McCreary Co., KY and eight cherished grandchildren.

The funeral service for Jennie Turner will be held at 2p.m. – Thursday, December 01, 2022 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Ted Couch, Dallas Mullins and Clayton Turner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Turner Family Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY with Clayton Turner, Corey Cornett, Brian Woods, Trevon Turner, Trenton Rojem and Steven Morgan serving as pallbearers.

The family of Jennie Turner will receive friends from 6p.m. – 9p.m. – Wednesday evening at the funeral home chapel.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
