Jessica Morgan

Jessica Marie Morgan was born September 16, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was the daughter of Marie Begley.  She attended the Leslie County High School and was a caregiver and housekeeper.  Jessica had been a resident of Leslie County much of her life, except for living in Slemp, Kentucky for the past few years.  Jessica had a kind and caring heart.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  She loved to laugh and make the best out of life.  She enjoyed cleaning and listening to music.  Above all, Jessica had an unconditional love for her family and caring for her dog, Harley.

Jessica departed this walk of life on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY.  She was 40 years old.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arnold and Hannah Begley and her uncles, Marvin, Wade, Garry and Lonnie Begley.

Jessica leaves behind her beloved mother, Marie Begley, four biological daughters, Kimberly Morgan of Lexington, KY, Brandi Johnson, Kayla Johnson and Hannah Johnson, all of Dryhill, KY.  Other survivors include, one brother, Russell Baker & wife, Tonya of Bear Branch, KY, one sister, Marsha Wolfe & husband, Jason of Hyden, KY, Tommy Hopewell & wife, Rhonda (Whom she loved as her father) of Dry Hill, KY, favorite aunt, Carolyn Johnson of Dryhill, KY, favorite uncle, Arnold “Bugs” Begley, Jr. of Taylor, MI, favorite cousin, Kevin Johnson & wife, Tori of Dryhill, KY, special nephew, Tyson Estep, her beloved boy friend, David Ritchie of Slemp, KY and her pet companion, Harley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. - Friday, October 01, 2021 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Teddy Bailey and Larry Bailey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Arnold Begley Cemetery with Kevin Johnson, Arnold "Bugs" Begley, Jr., Gary Dean Begley, Randy Begley, Jason Johnson and Jason Wolfe serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M.- Thursday evening at the funeral home chapel.
