Interment: Slone Cemetery - Kodak, Kentucky

Visitation: 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. - Friday at the church

Jimmy Ray Slone, age 59 of Vicco, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his residence on  Wednesday, April 25, 2018. He was the son of Marcella Green and the late Silas Slone.  He was a coal miner and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and 4-wheelers.

Jimmy Ray was preceded in death by his father, Silas Slone; one son, Ronnie Slone; his wife, Rose Mary Watts Slone; one brother, Carl Junior Slone, and a sister, Edith Mae Slone.

Jimmy leaves behind, two beloved daughters, Heather Sizemore (Jerry) and Angela Slone (Jerry Cornett), both of Hazard, Kentucky;  four brothers, Alger Slone of Vicco, KY,  Archie Slone (Crystal), Albert Slone, and James Slone (Jamie), all of Perry County;  six sisters, Betty Green, Mary Green, Gloria Sumner, Clara Bell Watson (Bill), all of Perry County, Kentucky, and Shirley Maggard (Johnny) of Hyden, Kentucky;  six cherished grandchildren,  Hannah Sizemore, Jimmy D. Sizemore, Teresa Slone, Haley Sizemore, Emmanuel Sizemore, and Jace Sizemore; a very special friend and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
