Johnny Mack Gibson

Mr. Johnny Mack Gibson, of Sizerock, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Hyden Health & Rehab at the age of 66 years, 01 month and 17 days. Johnny was born December 01, 1949 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Alfred Gibson and the late Joyce Hensley Davidson. By occupation, Johnny was a ship yard worker and night watchman.

Other than his parents, Johnny Mack is preceded in death by, his paternal grandparents, Archie and Nancy Ann Gibson, maternal grandparents, Sam and Maud Back Hensley, step-father, Charlie Davidson and special family friend, Robert Garcia.

Johnny is survived by: two brothers, Donnie Gibson (Sophia) of Bear Branch and Billy Ray Salyers (Wilma) of Bear Branch, KY and one uncle, Charlie Hensley. He is also survived by, special cousins, Cassie Hensley Begley, who has provided loving compassionate care for the past 6 years, Raquel Ramirez Musselman, Cindy Ramirez, Michelle Yahne, Kathy Hensley Carpenter, Geneva Doss and Eddie Wayne Gibson. Special friends, Harvey Gene & Mary Webb and a host of other cousins and friends also survive.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hensley - Gibson Cemetery at Bear Branch. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service hour at the funeral home.
