Jordyn Doylen (Lewis) Maher

Jordyn Doylen Maher, born January 08, 1994, departed this life on December 01, 2021 at the residence.  Jordyn was born in Hazard, Kentucky to Tonya Collett Lewis and Clyde Conway Vance.  Jordyn had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and enjoyed writing, reading, socializing and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding Jordyn in death is, husband, James Maher, paternal grandfather, Mathias Lewis, maternal grandmother, Kay Collett, special great aunts and uncles, Susie Holland, Pauline Collett, Susie Carmack, Dora Fee and Edith Collett; Freddie Joe Collett, Kenneth Collett and Justin Wayne Collett.

Survivors include Jordyn’s beloved mother and father, Tonya Collett Lewis and Clyde Conway Vance; maternal grandfather, Doyle Collett of Zionsville, IN; one son, Darin Maher Hill, step-son, Chandler Hill (Brittany); special aunts, Carmon Browning-Burns, Fern Maxwell, Linda Pennington, Joyce Hunley (Eugene), Geral Collett (Mason), Rosetta Sizemore (Steve), Helen Shepherd (JR), and Grace Langdon, special uncles, Earl Collett (Mary), John Collett (Carolyn), Marcus Collett (Emily), Elijah Collett (Guylaine) and George Collett, Jr. (Cheryl); special cousin, Amanda White;  A host of other family and friends survive.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm – Thursday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 am – until the service hour on Thursday at the chapel.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
