Judy "Big-Gran" Adams

Judy "Big-Gran" Adams, 71 of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H.. She was born August 25, 1945 in Yeaddiss, Kentucky to the union of the late Hurlen and Cora Bailey Coots. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Adams of May 09, 1963. Judy was a homemaker and a life-long resident of Leslie County. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, Kentucky. Judy was a devout Christian and loved going to church and reading her Bible. She enjoyed taking pictures and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Adams; two sons, James Harold Adams and Benjamin Edward Adams; two brothers, Hurlen and Bobby Rex Coots; two sisters, Polly Marie Bramel & husband, Doug, and Mackey Childers; one nieces, Ruth Ann Childers.

Survivors include, three sons, Jimmy Lynn Adams (Wanda "Tootie"), Tommy Darrel Adams (Aundrea), Hurlen Lee Adams (Amanda), all of Yeaddiss, KY; four brothers, G.T. Coots, Chucky Coots (Alene), Junior Coots (Maggie), and Mark Coots (Janice), all of Yeaddiss, KY; three sisters, Rosalie Kilburn (Don), Joyce Boggs (James) and Lorraine Boggs (Denver), all of Yeaddiss, KY; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Eldon Childers, sister-in-law, Lorene Coots, three special nieces, Ruth, Jennifer and Allison; two special nephews, Big Edd and James Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Don Kilburn and James Scott Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Jimmy Adams Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. The family will receive friends after 6PM Tuesday evening at the church.
