Interment: Joseph Cemetery – Yeaddiss, Kentucky

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. – Wednesday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.

Katie Reed, former resident of Yeaddiss, Kentucky was born April 24, 1942 in Leslie County to the union of the late Clemmie and Polly Jane Lewis Joseph.  Katie spent the last years of her life in Clarkston, Kentucky except for having lived in Hazard for a brief time.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.  Katie departed this walk of life on Saturday, September 07, 2019 at her home in Hazard.  Katie was 77 years old.

In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Reed; one daughter, Mona Jean Bundy; four brothers, Okey, John Henry, Estill and Will Joseph; six sisters, Nancy Callahan, Judy Day, Betty Pennington, Easter Joseph, Laura Boggs, and Lizzie Day; great granddaughter, Tatielyn Turner.

Survivors include, one brother, Herman Joseph (Paula) of Yeaddiss, KY; three grandchildren, Jonathan Haynes, Ryan Bundy, and Jimmy Longdon; granddaughter-in-law, Melinda Haynes; eight great-grandchildren, Shannon Marie Haynes, Abigail Haynes, Tiesha Haynes, Katlyn Haynes, Tabatha Haynes, Jace Haynes, Holly Bundy, and Zaiden King; one great-great grandchild, Logan Creech; also her special friends and caretakers in Clarkston, KY.  A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
